Over nearly ten years, as I worked on the various projects of my “Fourteen Stations/Hey Yud Dalet” suite, I kept a written record in my daily journals of what transpired and a photographic record of the various stages of each work’s evolution. Due to the volume of this compillation of materials and the esoteric nature of the process ... it lends itself less to a website and more to a written book. When this is accomplished you will see it on my New Works and Writings webpages.

Although I didn’t manage to record everything, the images on the Preparatory Drawings webpage do provide an insight into the methods involved in the creation of the Fourteen Stations - Hey Yud Dalet. These photographs also serve as a reminder as to why this project took so long to complete as well as the technical and aesthetic choices I had to make to realize the drawings. I hope that these images help to illuminate the process.
